BLUE JEANS – both the name of a Curacao-based cocktail (that I hated making) sold at my old job (that I hated working), and hardworking wardrobe staple. But unlike me at my old job, my blue jeans show up every time and put in 100% – managing the sweaty walk to the city or Friday afternoon drinks in the valley, no worries.
Another hardworking staple is linen. Despite its tendency to wrinkle if you so much as breathe on it, linen is one of the most expensive and sought-after textiles in the world, and a quintessential summer fabric. Strong, lightweight and highly absorbent, it wicks moisture away from your skin, keeping you looking and feeling fresh AF. Get it in white, and you’ll spend the long summer days feeling as though you’re straight out The Hamptons.
