Like maple syrup, bacon pancakes and Robin Sparkles, Canada has given the world many great things. Not the least of which, is the queen of facile fashion – the Canadian Tuxedo.

A true classic, double denim has been worn and loved since as early as the 1950s, with each decade putting its own unique twist on the trend (most notably, 80s acid wash). Now, rather than using denim as statement pieces, they are blank, comfortable canvases to which you can add any accessory, transcending the restrictions of dress codes. As for me – I prefer my Canadian Tuxedo straight up, with a twist of leather and ivory accessories.
